Software Installation

When your software is installed the most up to date version is used at the time. As long as you are using version 2.8 or greater upgrading to newer versions is done in one click.

My SQL Database

Your WordPress website must have a database. This is where all of your critical data is stored. GaLearning.com will configure and set up a database for Your Website. Once the database has been installed and tested it is connected to the software that is installed on a webserver.

Included in your WordPress installation is category creation. GaLearning.com will install four categories of your choice. Tutorials are also available so you can see how easy it is to create your own category.

GALearning Plugins Installed:

With every standard WordPress installation performed by GaLearning.com the following plugins are installed.

• Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under "Comments." To show off your Akismet stats just put <?php akismet_counter(); ?> in your template. See also: WP Stats plugin.

• Constant Contact Adds Constant Contact signup form to your sidebar without touching code.
• GD Star Rating plugin allows you to set up advanced rating and review system for posts, pages and comments in your blog using single, multi and thumbs ratings.
• Google Analytics This plugin makes it simple to add Google Analytics with extra search engines and automatic click out and download tracking to your WordPress blog.
• Hello Dolly- This is not just a plugin, it symbolizes the hope and enthusiasm of an entire generation summed up in two words sung most famously by Louis Armstrong: Hello, Dolly. When activated you will randomly see a lyric from Hello, Dolly in the upper right of your admin screen on every page.
• Popular Tags- A configurable widget that displays your blog's most popular tags or categories
• Similar Posts- Does nothing by itself but supplies common code for the Similar Posts, Recent Posts, Random Posts, and Recent Comments plugins. Make sure you have the latest version of this plugin.
• Ratings- A collection of functions that allow you to add a rating to each post.
• Social- Automatically add links on your posts, pages and RSS feed to your favorite social bookmarking sites.

Image Editing

Image editing is not included in the initial setup for $399.00. However, for an extra charge our designers can edit and even change images that appear in WordPress themes to suit your business. The cost of doing this is quoted on a per project basis.

Theme Installation

In the standard installation that GaLearning.com provides three themes of your choice are installed. Custom WordPress theme installation is also available if you want your own visual appeal. All themes work within the WordPress a loop system and can be highly modified to suit your individual business needs.
